Patient Registration Scheduler – Children's of Alabama
Responsible for performing multiple customer-focused functions within the Patient Registration Department as it pertains to scheduling patients for appointments into the health system.
Responsibilities
Schedule patients for appointments within the health system.
Provide exceptional customer service to patients and staff.
Maintain accurate patient appointment records.
Collaborate with other departments to coordinate scheduling.
Qualifications
High School Diploma or equivalent; preferred some college coursework in Business Administration, Allied Health, or related area.
One or more years of healthcare, office, customer service, financial or insurance experience, preferably in the medical field.
Excellent customer service skills; prior experience in scheduling preferred.
Compliance with any required licenses, certifications, or registries.
