Base Pay Range $17.95/hr - $17.95/hr
Description The Eastern Kentucky Veterans Center (EKVC) is a 120-bed long‑term care facility providing skilled nursing and rehabilitative care exclusively to Kentucky’s Veterans. Proudly operated by the Kentucky Department of Veterans Affairs, EKVC was built with a single purpose — to honor and care for those who have served our nation.
We are currently seeking a dedicated and compassionate Nurse Aide State Registered I to join our team. This is your opportunity to make a meaningful impact every day in the lives of our Veteran residents.
Responsibilities
Provide total personal care including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting
Assist residents with meals and proper hydration, including restorative dining
Escort residents to medical appointments and activities
Record vital signs such as temperature, pulse, respirations, and blood pressure
Assist with lifting, repositioning, and transporting residents using assistive equipment
Maintain clean and safe living environments and follow infection control protocols
Observe and report any changes in resident condition to nursing staff
Perform additional care tasks as directed

Must maintain any required licensure(s), certification(s), or other credentials for the length of employment in this job classification.
