Ultrasound Technologist (FT) 1st Shift – Huntsville Hospital
Perform ultrasonography procedures at a technical level not requiring constant supervision. Use independent judgment, ingenuity, and initiative to perform state‑of‑the‑art diagnostic ultrasound procedures.
Qualifications
Education:
High School Diploma or GED required. Graduate accredited ultrasound program preferred.
License, certification, and registration:
ARDMS registered within 1 year of hire or 2 years from graduation date, whichever is later. BLS certification within 90 days of hire.
Experience:
Six months to one year clinical experience preferred.
Additional skills/abilities:
Excellent communication skills with the ability to work in a fast‑paced environment, prioritizing and changing tasks frequently and quickly. Willingness to learn vascular ultrasound.
