Saint Francis Hospital seeks a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to provide patient care under the direction of a Registered Occupational Therapist. The role involves performing treatment, documenting outcomes, and maintaining equipment.
Responsibilities
Perform selected tests and measurements as consulted with therapist; maintain documentation for all treatments.
Perform patient treatment per the treatment plan.
Document treatments given, including frequent and objective measurements; work with neonatal through geriatric patients.
Complete established competencies for the position within designated introductory period.
Perform related duties as required.
Qualifications
Associate’s degree in Occupational Therapy Assistant or approved alternative such as military service with accredited PA program.
State of Tennessee OTA license.
Clinical competency with neonatal through geriatric patients.
Capacity to complete required competencies within introductory period.
