Position Summary We are seeking a motivated and compassionate Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our skilled nursing team. The LPN plays a key role in delivering exceptional resident care, monitoring clinical outcomes, and supporting residents’ health and comfort through professional nursing practice and teamwork.
Key Responsibilities
Provide licensed nursing care to assigned residents as ordered by the physician and in compliance with facility, federal, state, and local regulations.
Conduct resident assessments, observations, and interventions; review and update care plans as needed.
Monitor and record residents’ vital signs and blood pressure.
Administer medications and treatments accurately and safely within scope of practice.
Provide catheter and respiratory care, including oxygen and nebulizer treatments.
Observe residents for changes in condition and communicate findings promptly to the RN and physician.
Maintain accurate documentation of care provided and resident responses.
Foster a compassionate, respectful, and professional environment for residents, families, and team members.
Qualifications And Skills
Current LPN License in the State of Michigan.
Current CPR and BLS certifications required.
Prior experience in long-term care preferred.
Experience with PointClickCare electronic medical records is a plus.
Strong clinical, organizational, and communication skills.
Dedication to providing quality care and promoting resident well-being.
