Position Summary . We are seeking dedicated and experienced Registered Nurses (RNs) and Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs) to join our Weekend Warrior Team. This position is ideal for professionals who are passionate about providing high‑quality care and thrive in an environment that values teamwork, respect, and clinical excellence. As a Weekend Warrior, you’ll play a vital leadership role in ensuring exceptional resident care during weekend shifts—while enjoying premium pay and a comprehensive benefits package.
Key Responsibilities
Deliver individualized nursing care based on residents’ care plans and clinical needs.
Administer medications and treatments accurately and in a timely manner.
Perform resident assessments, update care plans, and respond effectively to health changes.
Collaborate with physicians, interdisciplinary teams, and families to ensure optimal resident outcomes.
Provide mentorship, direction, and supervision to LPNs (for RNs) or CNAs (for LPNs).
Ensure accurate documentation and adherence to all regulatory and facility standards.
Promote a culture of safety, compassion, and resident dignity.
Qualifications
Current RN or LPN license in the State of Michigan (required).
Current CPR certification (required).
Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills.
Previous experience in long‑term care or skilled nursing preferred.
Experience with PointClickCare (PCC) electronic documentation preferred.
Commitment to compassionate, resident‑centered care and professional integrity.
