Part‑time position with paid per‑visit scale: $75 for evaluations and $70 for treatments (base rate; may increase based on experience).
Job Summary A registered professional speech therapist who provides therapeutic techniques for the rehabilitation of patients/clients with speech, language, hearing, oral‑motor, swallowing, and cognitive disorders. Provides coordinated care to patients/clients of all age groups. Plans, implements, and evaluates patient/client care plans to restore or maintain patient/client well‑being. Participates in care coordination.
Qualifications
Education:
Master’s or Doctoral Degree in Speech‑Language Pathology from an accredited institution.
Licensure:
Current State License in Speech‑Language Pathology or, if licensure does not apply, meets the requirements listed in 42 CFR 484.115(n); current Driver’s License.
Experience:
One year in an acute care or rehabilitation setting, or home health preferred; ASIS documentation experience preferred.
Skills:
Therapy skills as defined by generally accepted standard of practice; good interpersonal skills; proof of current CPR.
Transportation:
Reliable transportation and valid current auto liability insurance.
