Job Overview
We are looking for a Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our team in the Saint George area. The role involves implementing treatment plans for clients of all ages to improve speech, language, cognitive, feeding/swallowing, and social/emotional functioning in home and community settings.
Pay & Schedule Pay: $65 – $70 per visit (30–90 minutes). Mileage is provided for commuting between patient visits.
Schedule: Part‑time – 10–20 visits per week.
Responsibilities
Provide compassionate, high‑quality care that meets client and family needs by performing evaluations, interpreting assessment results, developing and implementing treatment plans in collaboration with the physician.
Assist pediatric and adult patients to develop or regain cognitive, speech, language, feeding/swallowing, and/or social/emotional functioning, improving independence and quality of life.
Coordinate care with referring physicians and other health‑care organizations to ensure safe, appropriate, and effective care for the client.
Instruct clients, families/caregivers, and other health‑care personnel on treatment plans as indicated.
Identify client and family/caregiver needs for additional services and refer appropriately.
Prepare and submit documentation per organization policy.
Maintain clinical competency in the theory and practice of speech‑language pathology.
Requirements
Master's or doctoral degree in speech‑language pathology (SLP).
ASHA certification or documentation of passing the PRAXIS exam and completing a clinical fellowship/externship.
Active SLP license in the state of Utah.
Active BLS certification.
Valid driver’s license and auto insurance.
Preferred: Minimum 1‑year clinical experience in speech‑language pathology (not required).
