As the Assistant Nurse Manager (ANM) for Perioperative Services, you’ll provide both clinical and administrative leadership at the unit level—supporting your team through mentorship, performance management, scheduling, and ensuring the delivery of safe, high‑quality surgical care.
This state‑of‑the‑art facility features nine operating rooms and provides comprehensive coverage for all orthopedic cases, from routine procedures to complex surgeries. The ANM will play a key role in maintaining operational efficiency, fostering collaboration among surgical teams, and supporting Novant Health’s commitment to remarkable patient outcomes.
Preferred Skillsets
Background in perioperative services
Proven leadership experience in a high‑volume OR
OR experience highly preferred
Leadership experience highly preferred
Familiarity with EMR systems (preferably Epic)
Excellent communication and team‑building abilities

What We're Looking For
Education: 4‑Year / Bachelor’s degree required. BSN preferred. Graduate degree preferred.
Experience: Minimum of two years of clinical RN experience preferred. Prior demonstrated nursing leadership preferred.
Licensure/Certification: Current RN licensure in appropriate state required. NC state approved curricula for restrictive interventions (facility specific) within 3 months of hire for Emergency Departments and Behavioral Health units required. Unit/Dept‑Specific required certifications.
Additional Skills (required): Successful completion of generic and department‑specific skills validation and competency testing. Ability to successfully complete Leader Education & Training.
