Admissions Counselor/Recruiter
to support the Job Corps program in Sedro-Woolley, WA. Compensation
Base pay: $22.00/hr (non‑exempt). Pay range is based on skills and experience. Position Details
Reports to: OA/CTS Manager. Department: OA/CTS. FLSA Status: Non‑Exempt. Responsibilities
Conduct outreach with public agencies, community organizations, schools, and individuals to refer eligible candidates. Interview candidates and gather pertinent information. Prepare documentation on potential students; review with the center as needed. Provide orientation to prospects and describe Job Corps and the center’s expectations. Maintain monthly outreach goals and contact all prospects within 24 hours. Audit assigned areas for contractual compliance and effectiveness; prepare reports. Assist in developing new and revised recruitment policies and procedures. Build a network with youth development agencies, one‑stop agencies, churches, and community organizations. Introduce labor market information to support career transition and analyze local market paths. Participate in student employability programs and activities. Support the Job Corps Zero Tolerance Policy and promote Career Success Standards. Maintain student accountability and safety practices. Qualifications
Bachelor’s or Associate’s degree in human services, counseling, education, social science, or related field; two years related experience. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel). Valid State Driver’s License; acceptable driving record. Experience in Job Corps outreach or similar youth development programs preferred. Physical & Work Environment
Requires sitting, standing, walking; some lifting up to 25 lbs. Outdoor exposure may occur; noise level varies from moderate to loud. Benefits
