Desktop Support Technician – TEKsystems
Our client is looking for a Desktop Support Technician to work on a team of 6 other DTS Techs to provide onsite support to the 400+ users across the County, primarily at the Public Safety Building, but also at 4 other sites, all within 2-3 miles of their primary site.
The ideal candidate will have worked as a Desktop Support Tech for a similar sized organization, using SCCM or Intune to image machines, push software patches and updates, swap hardware, set up new users, etc. Hours are 8:00–17:00, Monday–Friday with very little overtime and no off‑hours support. This role is a long‑term contract that could become permanent if a team member retires or quits; otherwise it remains a contract.
Skills & Qualifications
Desktop support experience with Windows 10, Office 365, Active Directory, deployment, and imaging
Experience using SCCM or Intune for imaging, patching, and hardware replacement
Excellent communication and customer‑service skills
Intermediate level proficiency
Job Type & Location Contract position based out of Kenosha, WI. Work hours 8:00–17:00, Monday–Friday. No overtime or off‑hours support. Opportunity to become permanent.
Pay & Benefits Pay range: $25.00–$28.00 per hour.
