TEKsystems is seeking qualified candidates for the
IT Desktop Support Technician
role on a Contract-to-Hire basis at our client’s office in Marshall, MI. This is a great opportunity for an individual who wants to launch or grow a career in IT Support.
The role offers the chance to work with a local enterprise, gain experience across Windows and Mac environments, and progress within the organization. Key requirements include prior help‑desk or desktop support experience and PC technician skills.
IT certifications such as CompTIA A+, Network+, or similar are desirable. Pay and benefits: The hourly rate ranges from $19.00 to $25.00, negotiable based on experience.

Workplace type: Fully onsite in Marshall, MI. Main Duties and Responsibilities
Diagnose and resolve software and hardware incidents for Windows and Mac operating systems and related applications. Swap out laptops/desktops, deploy Windows 10/11, and re‑image machines from Windows 10 to Windows 11. Assist users with logged IT incidents, performing problem analysis and providing temporary or permanent fixes. Escalate incidents to higher‑level support teams when necessary. Accurately record, update, and document requests using the IT service desk system. Install, configure, and maintain new IT equipment. Resolve incidents involving printers, copiers, and scanners.
