Personal Lines Account Manager at The Jonus Group

Job Summary Seeking an experienced and dedicated Personal Lines Account Manager to join a team. This is a full‑time position that will initially require onsite work, with the potential for hybrid or remote arrangements based on performance and business needs. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in personal lines account management, excellent customer service skills, and the ability to thrive in a collaborative and flexible work environment.

Compensation Package

Base Salary: $70,000–$75,000 annually (up to $75,000 for highly qualified candidates)

Quarterly Bonus: Available for fully onsite employees

Year‑End Bonus: Available to all employees

Average Annual Bonus Potential: Approximately $6,000

PURE New Business (Inbound Leads): 40% one‑time commission for accounts handled and closed by the Account Manager (eligibility criteria apply)

Lost Data/Win‑Back Accounts: Commission eligibility for successfully won‑back accounts

Staff Bonus Pool: Quarterly cash bonuses ranging from $500–$1,000 based on team success

Holiday Bonus: Example payout of $2,000 for non‑producers

401(k): Currently under review (previously offered via Paychex, no match)

Work‑From‑Home Setup: Provided for weather, illness, or other circumstances

Responsibilities

Manage and service personal lines accounts with professionalism and efficiency

Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, ensuring their insurance needs are met

Handle inbound leads and close new business opportunities

Assist with win‑back accounts by leveraging prior policy information and background details

Collaborate with team members to achieve agency goals and contribute to a motivated and flexible work culture

Stay updated on industry trends, carrier products, and software systems

Qualifications/Requirements

Experience:

Minimum of 5+ years in Personal Lines Account Management (10+ years preferred for fully remote consideration)

Education:

College degree preferred

Professional designations are a plus

Carrier Experience:

Familiarity with any of the following carriers: Travelers, Safeco, Foremost, Cincinnati, Acuity, NatGen, Openly, Nationwide, CHUBB, PURE

Software Skills:

TAM experience preferred (EPIC experience acceptable; TAM can be learned)

Proven success in remote work (if applying for a remote position)

Strong knowledge of insurance coverage, procedures, and processes

Ability to pass a background check and provide references (preferably previous supervisors)
