Commercial Lines Account Manager (CLAM) Seeking a dedicated and experienced
Commercial Lines Account Manager (CLAM)
to join a growing team. This role is integral to the organization, offering the opportunity to manage mid-to-large accounts with a book size of $800K in revenue and accounts up to $1M in premium. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in commercial lines insurance, a passion for client service, and a commitment to professional growth.
Compensation Package
Salary Range: $80,000 - $100,000 (flexible based on experience)
Incentives:
25% commission on new business
10% commission on renewal business
Year-end discretionary bonus
$5,000 raise upon obtaining designations (cost of classes covered by the company)
Responsibilities
Manage a book of business with $800K in revenue and accounts up to $1M in premium.
Handle all aspects of account management, including quoting, renewing, and servicing accounts ("soup to nuts").
Collaborate with an offshore team for administrative support.
Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and carriers, including Andover, AIG, Arbella, Chubb, Cincinnati, Hanover, The Hartford, Hagerty, Mapfre, Liberty Mutual, Pure, Plymouth Rock, Philadelphia, Safety, and others.
Ensure timely and accurate processing of renewals and endorsements.
Provide exceptional customer service and address client inquiries promptly.
Qualifications/Requirements
Minimum of 5 years of experience in commercial lines insurance (CL experience required).
Active Property & Casualty (P&C) license.
Proven ability to manage mid-to-large accounts with a focus on client satisfaction.
Experience with quoting and renewing business (renewal-focused role).
Familiarity with TAM software (transitioning to AMS360 in January).
Strong organizational and communication skills.
A proactive and detail-oriented approach to account management.
Commitment to professional growth and obtaining industry designations.
