Position Summary Central Florida Behavioral Hospital is a 174-bed private psychiatric center located in Orlando, FL, offering 24‑hour emergency services and a full continuum of care including inpatient treatment for children, adolescents and adults; partial hospitalization, intensive outpatient, and ECT services for adults. Job Overview The IOP/PHP Treatment Coordinator conducts therapeutic services for out‑patient patients, provides group counseling sessions, performs assessments of newly admitted patients, and develops appropriate treatment objectives and summaries. The coordinator serves as the primary contact for patients and families during the program and acts as an advocate with the treatment team. They collaborate with outside agencies to coordinate discharge planning and overall treatment goals.

Responsibilities

Conduct therapeutic services for Partial Hospitalization/Intensive Outpatient Program patients and Telehealth counseling.

Provide group counseling sessions.

Conduct assessments of newly admitted patients.

Develop updated or detailed re‑assessment of the patient.

Support and advocate coordination/liaison with community‑based social and mental‑health agencies regarding patient pre‑admission status.

Member of the treatment team in developing treatment planning and subsequent interventions.

Qualifications

Master’s Degree from an accredited college or university in social work, mental health counseling or related field.

Current license from the State of Florida (LCSW, LMFT, LMHC).

At least one year of direct clinical experience with family, individual, and group therapy with patients having psychiatric diagnoses. Specialized issues or modalities (abuse reactive, sexual offending, substance abuse, trauma, vocational, play therapy, art therapy, relaxation therapy) require specific training.
