Electromechanical Technician
Perform electrical maintenance and troubleshooting on stamping presses and associated equipment. Perform basic mechanical troubleshooting and repair of stamping presses and associated equipment. Install and set up new equipment and fixtures as needed. Job Responsibilities & Requirements Work with stamping operations to ensure plant equipment operates when necessary by diagnosis, troubleshooting, and repair (mechanical, hydraulic, electrical, electronic). Ensure preventative maintenance is performed on all plant equipment to maximize productivity per manufacturer or internal schedules. Focus on improving productivity through machine, material, or process improvements. Install and troubleshoot new equipment as directed. Maintain attendance and on‑time presence during shifts, including overtime as required. Skills & Abilities Education: High School diploma, GED, Technical School, or five years related experience and/or training. Communication: Effectively communicate with co‑workers and management about work and safety issues; read and interpret safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, procedure manuals; write routine reports and correspondence. Computer: Use Microsoft Windows, Microsoft Office, PLC Programming Software (Allen Bradley, Mitsubishi preferred); CAD and CMMS experience is a plus. Certificates & Licenses: Journeyman or Maintenance Electrician License preferred; must qualify in MiTek Lock‑Out Tag‑Out program and Forklift Certification; other MiTek certifications as required.
