Facility Maintenance Supervisor Pleasurecraft Engine Group . Location: Columbia, SC. Salary: US$120,000 – $140,000 per year.

Overview The Facility Maintenance Supervisor oversees maintenance operations of the facility, ensuring equipment, machinery, and infrastructure are properly maintained to support efficient business operations. The role includes managing a team, scheduling activities, budgeting, and ensuring safety and compliance.

Responsibilities

Manage a team of maintenance staff and train junior staff as needed.

Schedule maintenance activities, conduct equipment repairs (heating, cooling, plumbing, electrical), and maintain a calendar of monthly and annual checkups.

Perform general aesthetic upkeep including painting, basic carpentry, landscaping, and other construction duties such as carpentry, masonry, roofing, and welding.

Conduct building and equipment surveying to ensure health and safety standards.

Handle pest control issues by spraying insecticide or coordinating with professionals.

Respond to emergencies, prioritize tasks, and communicate issues to upper management timely.

Maintain and manage the maintenance budget and ensure compliance with regulatory standards.

Qualifications

Minimum 5 years supervisory experience.

Working knowledge of electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and plumbing systems.

Proficiency in reading blueprints and schematics.

Strong problem‑solving, critical thinking, and multitasking skills.

Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs, stand or walk for extended periods, and perform routine physical tasks.

Effective communication and people‑management abilities; ability to interact professionally at all levels.

Comfortable working in a fast‑paced environment and managing multiple priorities.

Preferred experience in a manufacturing setting.

High‑level interpersonal skills to handle sensitive and confidential situations.

Professional demeanor and customer‑service orientation toward internal and external customers.
