What's the Job?
Measure, cut, and bend wired and conduit, using measuring instruments and hand tools.
Maintain tools, vehicles, and equipment and keep parts and supplies in order.
Perform semi-skilled and unskilled laboring duties related to the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems and equipment.
Disassemble defective electrical equipment, replace defective or worn parts, and reassemble equipment, using hand tools.
Examine electrical units for loose connections and broken insulation and tighten connections, using hand tools.
What's Needed?
High school diploma or GED required. Technical degree or certification preferred.
8-10 years experience required.
Basic knowledge of machines and tools, including their designs, uses, repair, and maintenance.
Basic ability to work independently and manage one’s time.
Interpersonal skills, attention to detail, and problem-solving skills.
