trained physician to join the Cancer Care Program in Albuquerque, New Mexico. We offer a nationally competitive salary with relocation allowance available, CME allowance and fully paid malpractice insurance. Practice Highlights: 60% Oncology / 40% Hematology See an average of 22+ patients per day. Clinic hours M – F 8 -5; Tuesday and Thursday Tumor Board. Practice Responsibilities: 80% office, 10% inpatient, 10% admin. Call frequency: 7 weeks per year. Member of the New Mexico Cancer Care Alliance for clinical trials. Systemwide Epic (EMR) system. Responsibilities:

In alignment with NCCN guidelines, order and oversee diagnostic testing; prescribe treatment and supportive medications; collaborate with the care team to include palliative care, psychology, social work, PT, OT, Speech, dietician, nursing, research to ensure optimal patient outcomes. Oversee care provided by Advanced Practice Clinicians, as required by provider licensure. Participate in process improvement which drives standard of care across the continuum. Participation in tumor board(s) is required. Qualifications: M.D. or D.O. with fellowship in Medical Oncology and Hematology. Board Certified / Board Eligible Medical Oncology and Hematology. New Mexico Medical License. Demonstration of CARES behaviors and the practice of collaborative care. Minimum 3-5 Years Experience Preferred. AA/EOE/VET/DISABLED.
