Project Manager
DPS Group Global – Cary, NC
Summary
An experienced A/E design side Project Manager is needed to plan and organize architectural and engineering functions for each project, coordinate project teams and clients, and guide technical resource loading.
Proven success at an A/E or EPCM firm, supporting projects in cleanrooms, laboratories, biotechnology, or pharmaceutical industries, is highly desirable.
Key Responsibilities
Manage small to mid-sized projects or designated portions of larger projects.
Establish project budgets, prepare proposals, and maintain positive client relationships.
Develop and maintain project resource plans.
Create and manage project execution plans including scope, schedule, communication tools, software tools, and deliverable distribution lists.
Report and present project status to internal and external stakeholders.
Manage changes on projects.
Collaborate with the quality manager on project-specific quality plans.
Identify and assess project risks and escalate to senior leadership as appropriate.
Create and meet all project milestones and financial commitments.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Skills & Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in engineering or architecture, and 5‑7 years of related experience as an engineer or project manager.
Ability to read, analyze, and interpret engineering drawings and technical documents, financial reports, and legal documents.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, Project, Procore, Bluebeam, and video‑conferencing software, and other applicable project‑management applications.
Strong attention to detail, excellent written and communication skills, self‑motivated, organized, flexible, and engaged.
Local candidates preferred. Must provide valid U.S. work authorization.
