Sr Director, Global Operations – McDonald's
We are seeking a highly experienced and strategic leader to join our Restaurant Experience team as the Senior Director Global Operations. This role will play a critical part in shaping and executing McDonald’s corporate-owned restaurant (McOpCo) strategy across global markets. The ideal candidate will bring deep expertise in operations, finance, and franchising, and will serve as a trusted advisor to senior leadership, driving alignment, performance, and reinvestment decisions across McOpCo markets.
Responsibilities
Shape and execute McDonald’s short- and long‑term McOpCo strategy using data, operational insights, and franchising expertise.
Advise senior leadership on global operations and franchising matters, leveraging deep cross‑functional knowledge.
Lead strategic projects focused on scaling management tools, frameworks, and standardized ways of working across McOpCo markets.
Influence the development of global policies, procedures, and guidelines to support a consistent McOpCo operating model.
Negotiate high‑impact agreements with long‑term implications for the organization.
Collaborate across disciplines and geographies to align stakeholders and drive resolution on complex issues.
Qualifications
15+ years of experience in operations, finance, and/or franchising, ideally within a global QSR brand.
Bachelor’s degree in finance, business, or a related field; advanced degree preferred.
Proven success in strategic advisory or transformation roles.
Experience working in global, matrixed organizations and navigating multi‑market environments.
Strong communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
Ability to lead through influence and drive change without direct authority.
