The

Associate Business Manager

assists the Business Manager in executing the mutual business goals of Acosta and assigned clients. Under the direction of the Business Manager, the Associate will manage the bulk of smaller clients’ responsibilities and support Business Managers with key clients.

Responsibilities Supports Business Partners with key client tactical communication.

Act as liaison with Marketing.

Track key metrics.

Develop promotion plans.

Conduct post‑promotion analysis.

Assist in developing sales presentations.

Under the direction of the Business Manager provides tactical and strategic client communications for smaller clients.

Develop and deliver sales presentations for smaller clients.

Assist in promotion planning, execution tracking, and post‑promotion analysis for smaller clients.

Provide marketing analysis and category reviews for smaller clients.

Perform other duties as required and/or assigned.

Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience.

One year of marketing, sales, or sales support experience.

Ability to take complex data and create solutions for varying client goals.

Capability to build rapport with all stakeholders.

Negotiation skills, including strategy development and tactical techniques.

Effective communication, teamwork, commitment to serving clients, strong work ethic, and proactive assessment of client needs.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.

Strong interpersonal, organizational, presentation, negotiation, and sales skills.

Basic sales financial data and analytical acumen.

Basic cross‑functional and thought leadership.

Intermediate relationship building and customer expertise.

Basic solution‑focused problem solving.

Basic effective communication and strategic storytelling.
