Associate Attorney
licensed in South Carolina.
Compensation Base pay range: $85,000–$110,000 per year. Additional pay, benefits, and expense reimbursement described below.
Responsibilities
Court appearances – the Associate will prepare, appear timely, and handle court proceedings within reasonable travel distance. Overnight travel may be required.
Court coverage – the Associate will review coverage needs and arrange coverage for court calls, attach necessary documents, and obtain orders as required.
Mid‑litigation motions – the Associate will draft, review, and file motions during litigation.
Trials and arbitrations – the Associate will prepare for trials/arbitrations as necessary, which may include overnight stays in distant counties.
Communications – the Associate will communicate with consumers, employers, and attorneys to resolve accounts and suits.
Qualifications
Licensed to practice law in South Carolina. Additional state licenses (e.g., NC, IA, MO, KS, IL, NY, NE, ID, CA, WA, OR, AK, HI, NV) are welcomed.
Comfortable appearing in court and reliable to appear on time using own transportation.
Travel may be required; the firm reimburses per IRS mileage rates; other approved travel expenses are reimbursed in the subsequent pay period following reimbursement submission.
Strong verbal and written communication skills and ability to multi‑task for a high‑volume case load.
Proficient in Microsoft Office.
