Base pay range $85,000.00/yr - $110,000.00/yr
Mandarich Law Group is one of the country's leading creditor's right law firm with offices in CA, NY, IL, MI, OH, GA, MO, FL, and NC and seeks an Associate Attorney licensed in South Carolina.
What You'll Do
Prepare and appear for court appearances within reasonable travel distance and ensure timely arrival. Overnight travel may be required and a car is necessary for some locations.
Review and appropriately request coverage for court calls when an associate won't appear, attaching all necessary documents and orders for requested coverage.
Draft, review, and file motions and responses during litigation.
Prepare for trials/arbitrations, including overnight stays in distant counties.
Communicate with consumers, employers and attorneys to resolve accounts/suits.
Requirements
Licensed to practice law in South Carolina. Additional licenses in other states are welcomed.
Comfortable appearing in court and consistently arriving on time using personal transportation.
Travel may be required, reimbursed at IRS mileage rates with other travel expenses reimbursed in the subsequent pay period after submission.
Strong multi-tasking, verbal and written communication skills for a high-volume case load.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
