Senior Accountant
position for the corporate office located in Emeryville, CA. This position is hybrid and will require on‑site work 3 days a week. The ideal candidate will have 5 years of experience as a Senior Accountant with strong reconciliation skills and SAP experience.
Responsibilities:
Develop and implement continuous process improvements for AR reconciliations.
Prepare and support year‑end financial reporting and closing procedures.
Execute SOX control documentation and compliance.
Conduct advanced data analysis to identify trends, discrepancies, and optimization opportunities.
Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to resolve complex AR issues.
Prepare detailed reports for management.
Work on ad‑hoc project requests that support team‑wide and departmental initiatives.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field is required.
Software experience with SAP is preferred.
Excellent knowledge of current US GAAP.
Strong reconciliation skills.
Strong computer/technical skills (Excel – Advanced).
Good communication skills (verbal & written).
Detail‑oriented, analytical, reliable, and organized.
Team player, with a positive attitude and quick to learn.
Five years of experience as a Senior Accounting professional (Senior Accountant, Senior AR Accountant, Accounting Manager, Controller).
Employment Type: Temporary (3 to 6 months)
