Salesforce Technical Architect – Data Cloud
Location: San Francisco, CA (Hybrid – 2-3 days onsite per week)
Duration: 6-Month Contract
Rate: Up to $120 an hour
Overview We are seeking a Salesforce Technical Architect with deep Data Cloud expertise to design, implement, and scale a modern Salesforce data architecture. This role will focus on data ingestion, identity resolution, integrations, and real-time activation across Sales, Service, and Marketing Cloud.
Key Responsibilities
Architect and lead Salesforce Data Cloud implementations, including data ingestion, harmonization, identity resolution, and segmentation
Design and oversee complex integration architectures using Salesforce APIs, middleware platforms, and event-driven patterns
Enable real-time data activation across Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, and Marketing Cloud
Define Salesforce data models, governance frameworks, and performance optimization strategies
Lead hands-on development efforts using Apex, LWC, SOQL / SOSL , and advanced automation
Establish and enforce technical standards, CI / CD pipelines, and deployment governance
Provide technical leadership and mentorship to Salesforce developers and engineers
Partner with data, marketing, and operations teams to align data strategy with business outcomes
Requirements
8+ years of Salesforce technical experience, including architect-level responsibilities
Proven hands-on experience implementing Salesforce Data Cloud
Strong expertise in Apex architecture, integrations, and performance tuning
Experience with CI / CD tools, DevOps practices, and release management
Strong understanding of data platforms, identity management, and analytics enablement
Salesforce Technical Architect or advanced developer certifications preferred
