Responsibilities
Provide technical service to vehicles and equipment.
Perform general and detailed repair of trucks, engines, and components.
Overhaul gasoline or diesel engines.
Install injectors, pistons, liners, camshafts, cylinder heads, rod and main bearings, oil pans, clutches, fan hubs, differentials, fifth wheels, brakes, battery recharge / replacement, and transmissions.
Read job orders, observe vehicles in operation to diagnose malfunctions, and plan work procedures.
Examine protective guards, loose bolts, and safety devices on trucks and make necessary adjustments.
Lubricate moving parts and verify vehicle performance after repair.
Tag warranty parts and return them to the warranty clerk.
Attend training classes and stay current with factory technical bulletins.
Build and maintain positive customer relationships to increase satisfaction.

Basic Qualifications
High school diploma or GED.
Minimum of 5 years’ experience as a Class 7 & 8 technician in a dealership or related truck service facility.
Valid driver’s license (CDL a plus).
Peterbilt, International, Ford, Hino, Isuzu, Cummins, and/or ASE certifications preferred and rewarded.
