Base pay: $25.00/hr - $35.00/hr.

We are looking for a 1st shift Maintenance Technician to join our New Hope, MN location. The right maintenance tech will have a strong understanding of preventative maintenance on manufacturing machines including CNC machines, turret punch, brake press, welding equipment, electrical, and facilities. A proven background in successful PM within a sheet metal or stamping manufacturing environment is preferred.

Responsibilities
Perform all PMs based on a scheduled event for all Lake Air plants and track results.
Maintain facilities and grounds and manage associated contract services and repairs.
Provide technical support by training and troubleshooting to all manufacturing employees.
Interpret operational manuals, manufacturer’s specifications, blueprints, and schematics for manufacturing and ancillary equipment.
Work together with the Production departments for Continuous Improvement programs.
Remain current on all OSHA, Arc Flash, and LO/TO procedures and update as required.
Train on proper equipment maintenance and repair.
Assist workers in diagnosing malfunctions in machinery and equipment.
Make recommendations on the use of machinery and equipment.
Work with outside vendors in painting and performing structural repairs to buildings, equipment, masonry, woodwork, and furnishings of buildings.
Inspect completed work for conformance to blueprints, specifications, and standards.
Qualifications
Strong organizational, time management, and communication skills.
Experience with Pneumatics, PLC, Electronics.
Ability to take initiative and work independently as well as contribute to the overall success of the team.
Ability to prioritize, multi‑task, meet deadlines, and easily adapt to change.
Working knowledge of Preventative Maintenance Programs.
10+ years of recent experience in a manufacturing environment.
Ability to network and/or research issues to quickly diagnose repair issues.
