Position Overview
Reporting to the Plant Manager, the Maintenance Supervisor will play an integral role in sustaining and improving Nehring’s equipment and overall production processes. The Maintenance Supervisor is a hands‑on, working foreman position that spends the majority of their time on the shop floor. The successful candidate will handle the following responsibilities:
Coordinate with Operations team and outside contractors to schedule maintenance activities and manage/reduce machine downtime
Drive and improve preventative maintenance (PM) process
Manage multiple projects with a demonstrated ability to meet deadlines
Drive continuous improvement projects and identify opportunities for Capex
Identify and implement actions to improve workplace safety and reduce environmental impact
Demonstrate a sense of urgency to achieve company commitments and goals
Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
Associates or 2-year technical degree preferred
Electrical and mechanical maintenance knowledge
Must be proficient in technology and software such as ERP systems, AutoCAD, Minitab, Microsoft Office (Excel)
Familiarity with maintenance management software (e.g. Limble)
Strong leadership and organizational skills
Ability to speak/interpret Spanish a plus
Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
