Diesel Mechanic Ryder Supply Chain Solutions

Immediate hiring for a Permanent Full‑Time Mid‑Level Diesel Technician to support our truck fleet.

The role requires a valid CDL class A and mechanical expertise.

Pay & Benefits

Hourly Pay: $30.50 per hour

Certification Bonus: Up to $700 for new ASE certifications

Quarterly Bonus: Up to $500 every quarter

Sign‑On Bonus: $1,250 at 30 days and $1,250 at 90 days

Schedule: Tuesday to Saturday (Shift 2:00 pm‑10:30 pm Tuesday‑Friday; Saturday 8:00 am‑4:30 pm)

Responsibilities

Perform vehicle maintenance and repairs, including routine preventative maintenance, component inspections, and preventive maintenance.

Diagnose mechanical and electronic problems using diagnostic computers.

Identify root causes of failures and perform required repairs.

Replace defective components as instructed.

Maintain facility and comply with safety, DOT, and corporate guidelines.

Interact with customers/drivers to identify complaints and use shop management systems for documentation.

Perform additional support duties as needed.

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent preferred; vocational or technical post‑secondary certification preferred.

Minimum 2 years of classroom training or work experience in automotive gas or diesel engine repair.

Basic tool proficiency.

Valid Commercial Driver License (CDL) Class A (preferred) – must obtain a CDL within 6 months after hire.

Pass Ryder drug test, DOT physical, and road test, and background check.
