This role offers the opportunity to support the manufacturing of a next-generation military trainer aircraft for the United States Air Force at a state‑of‑the‑art aerospace manufacturing facility. The Senior MRB / Liaison Engineer plays a critical role in bridging engineering, manufacturing, and quality to ensure design intent is met throughout production while maintaining strict aerospace and regulatory standards.
You will serve as the primary point of contact for resolving non-conformances, supporting real-time production issues, and driving cross‑functional collaboration to deliver high‑quality aerospace hardware on schedule.
What You Will Do
Review and disposition non‑conforming conditions on primary parts, assemblies, and final products, ensuring no negative impact to system functionality
Serve as the main liaison between design engineering, manufacturing, and quality teams to ensure engineering intent is properly executed
Interpret engineering drawings, models, and technical specifications to resolve production and build issues
Provide real‑time engineering support to manufacturing and assembly teams to minimize schedule impact
Investigate non‑conformances, implement corrective actions, and ensure compliance with engineering and regulatory requirements
Collaborate with suppliers, quality engineers, and manufacturing personnel to resolve deviations and propose corrective solutions
Identify potential design or manufacturing risks and recommend improvements to enhance efficiency and product quality
Ensure compliance with applicable aerospace standards, regulations, and quality systems
Support additional engineering projects and initiatives as needed
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Aerospace Engineering or Mechanical Engineering
5‑8 or more years of engineering experience, preferably in aerospace manufacturing environments
Strong proficiency in interpreting engineering drawings, models, and technical documentation
Solid understanding of material properties, manufacturing processes, and their impact on aircraft performance
