Entry Level Engineer Technician

Actively seeking an entry level engineer technician to provide support to engineers on technical projects and products. The role involves collecting, maintaining, organizing, and manipulating technical data, as well as creating, building, assembling, modifying, and repairing prototypes. You will prepare engineering documentation such as reports, drawings, sketches, flow charts, diagrams, and schematics. The position also requires performing mathematical calculations per engineering specifications and analyzing data within provided guidelines. You may set up and conduct tests, record data to assist with engineering analysis, and recommend alternative solutions to problems and obstacles.
Responsibilities
Coordinate with permit agencies, right-of-way specialists, system owners, field leaders, forestry leaders, and 3rd party owners for joint-owned poles.
Review work provided by the client and assess the requirements of scopes.
Provide engineering support during construction and conduct post-construction reviews to ensure compliance with engineering and construction standards.
Conduct root cause analysis of outages and mitigation using engineering principles and design.
Travel to sites as needed, perform inspections, return to the office to perform engineering design work, and collect field data for electrical design work packages.
Qualifications
Bachelors Degree in Engineering Technology, Drafting or Design or GIS/Environmental related degree
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.).
Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Raleigh, NC.
Pay And Benefits The pay range for this position is $23.00 - $23.00/hr.
