HVAC Service Technician - Commercial

Our work includes service and installation for HVAC mechanical systems and building automation systems in commercial offices, light industrial, hospitality, healthcare, and critical facilities across the Denver Metro and surrounding areas.

Job Title Commercial HVAC Service Technician
Pay Rate $40.00 to $60.00 per hour, depending on experience
Work Hours Monday through Friday, 7:00 am to 4:00 pm, with occasional overtime
What You Will Be Doing
Perform service/maintenance/repair on commercial and light industrial heating/cooling and ventilation systems
Boilers, chillers, pumps, AC, rooftop, split system, and water‑source heat pumps
Communicate clearly, explaining problems to customers and coworkers
Report to the TRYG service manager/supervisor
Provide outstanding service to our customers
Qualifications / Skills
Valid driver’s license and insurable driving record
EPA Universal Refrigerant Handling License
5+ years of HVAC service experience
Low Voltage License
Experience troubleshooting, repairing, and performing maintenance for a wide range of commercial and light industrial equipment
Ability to work from 8‑foot extension ladder and 12‑foot step ladder
Read and interpret wiring diagrams and blueprints
Understand and communicate benefits of preventative/annual maintenance
Advanced customer service skills; ability to communicate clearly with customers and coworkers
Operate scissors and Genie lifts safely
Familiar with air‑balancing principles and techniques
Must be able to lift and carry 50 lbs
Certification of completion from an HVAC technical school desired
High school diploma or equivalent
