Registered Nurse (RN) – CVICU – Augusta, GA (Onsite)

Immediate need for a talented RN for CVICU. This is a full‑time Day and Night shift opportunity with long‑term potential.
Key Responsibilities
Deliver safe, high‑quality, individualized nursing care using the nursing process
Provide direct patient care under the supervision of unit leadership and preceptors
Participate in a structured 12‑month Nurse Residency Program
Collaborate with physicians, educators, and interdisciplinary teams to coordinate care
Perform accurate and timely clinical documentation
Engage patients and families as active partners in the plan of care
Participate in unit‑based education, specialty onboarding, and professional development sessions
Support quality improvement initiatives, patient safety goals, and best practices
Uphold nursing standards, ethical guidelines, and regulatory requirements
Assist in resource utilization and care coordination across the continuum of care
Key Requirements and Technology Experience
Strong clinical judgment and critical thinking skills
Ability to function effectively in a fast‑paced, high‑acuity environment
Excellent communication and collaboration skills
Patient‑ and family‑centered care approach
Time management and organizational skills
Ability to respond calmly and decisively during emergencies
Commitment to evidence‑based nursing practice
Ability to work effectively as part of an interdisciplinary care team
Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Nursing from an accredited program
Active RN license (single‑state or compact)
Less than 1 year of RN experience (new graduate eligible)
BLS certification required upon hire
ACLS certification required within 180 days of hire
Ability to read, write, and speak English fluently
Basic computer skills; EMR experience preferred (Epic/3M a plus)
Willingness to work Day or Night shifts
