Moffitt Services is a Texas-based fuel and lubricants distributor committed to providing quality fuels, lubricants, and superior service to customers that operate heavy equipment, generators, automotive and truck fleets, and more. We offer ultra‑low sulfur diesel for on‑road and off‑road use, biodiesel, Diesel Exhaust Fluid (DEF), gasoline, ethanol, E85, and kerosene as well as a full line of quality lubricants.

We are currently hiring a CDL Fuel Driver to work nights, which will help meet our growing business and customer needs. We offer competitive pay and a benefits package after a probationary period.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities

Safely operate and maintain a fuel delivery truck to transport and deliver fuel to various client locations.

Plan and execute efficient delivery routes to meet customer demands and delivery schedules.

Load and unload bulk fuel using appropriate equipment and follow established safety protocols.

Conduct pre‑trip and post‑trip inspections to ensure the proper functioning of the delivery vehicle.

Maintain accurate and up‑to‑date delivery records, including quantities delivered, locations, and customer signatures.

Provide excellent customer service, addressing inquiries and concerns professionally during delivery stops.

Collaborate with the logistics team to coordinate delivery schedules and optimize routes for efficiency.

Adhere to all safety regulations and guidelines, including proper handling and disposal of hazardous materials.

Report any vehicle maintenance issues promptly and work with the maintenance team to ensure timely repairs.

Maintain a clean and organized delivery truck, ensuring it is stocked with necessary supplies and equipment.

Qualifications

Minimum 5 years of verifiable driving experience.

Minimum 3 years tanker experience.

Valid commercial driver’s license (CDL) with appropriate endorsements.

Clean background with no felonies.

Excellent communication and customer service skills.

Ability to work independently and make decisions in a fast‑paced environment.

Physical fitness and stamina to perform manual tasks and operate delivery equipment.

Familiarity with DOT regulations.

Operating and reliable cell phone (dispatch and GPS coordinates).

Education High school diploma, GED, or equivalent required.

Class A or B CDL with hazmat & tanker endorsements (required).

Relocation This position is not eligible for relocation.

Travel Requirements Local and regional areas.

Availability to travel for disaster response, a plus.

Work Schedule/Benefits Able to work a rotating schedule (typically 5/2); may have to work weekends and holidays.
