Successfully completed an accredited physical therapy program recognized by the appropriate accrediting agency. Licensed (or eligible for licensure) to practice as a PT in the state of Florida. Membership in state and national American Physical Therapy Associations is a plus. Strong administrative and public‑relations skills to build effective relationships with patients and staff. Thorough understanding of PT principles, methods, materials, and equipment. Knowledge of potential hazards during treatment and necessary precautions to ensure patient safety. Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with patients and the medical team. Capable of interpreting physicians’ instructions to recommend appropriate treatment and outline expected benefits. Demonstrated emotional stability to manage the demands of patient care and team dynamics. Commitment to maintaining patient and employee confidentiality. Preferred: Knowledge of Medicare and third‑party reimbursement; experience with Net Health is a plus.
