Physical Therapist (PT) Qualifications
Successfully completed an accredited physical therapy program recognized by the appropriate accrediting agency.
Licensed or eligible for licensure to practice as a PT in the state of Florida.
Membership in state and national American Physical Therapy Associations is a plus.
Strong administrative, public relations, and interpersonal skills.
Thorough understanding of physical therapy principles, methods, materials, and equipment.
Knowledge of safety hazards and precautions to ensure patient safety.
Collaboration skills to work effectively with patients and the medical team.
Ability to interpret physicians' instructions and recommend appropriate treatment programs.
Emotional intelligence to manage patient care demands and team dynamics.
Commitment to maintaining patient and employee confidentiality.
Preferred: Knowledge of Medicare and third‑party reimbursement; experience with Net Health.
