Job Summary Verovian Healthcare Recruitment Agency is seeking a compassionate and skilled Registered Nurse (RN) to join the healthcare team in Syracuse, New York. As an RN, you will provide high-quality, patient-centered care in a dynamic and supportive environment. You will be responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating the care of patients while working closely with a multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
Responsibilities
Deliver comprehensive nursing care to patients, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of care plans. Provide direct patient care based on individual needs.
Perform thorough patient assessments, monitor vital signs, and recognize changes in patient's conditions, intervening as necessary.
Work collaboratively with physicians, specialists, and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized care plans. Ensure continuity of care by effectively communicating with the healthcare team.
Educate patients and their families about their conditions, treatments, and care plans. Provide support and guidance to help them manage their health effectively.
Accurately document patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes in accordance with hospital policies and regulatory requirements.
Administer medications and treatments safely and accurately, adhering to established protocols and guidelines.
Participate in quality improvement initiatives and adhere to safety protocols to ensure the highest standard of care.
Advocate for the rights and needs of patients, ensuring that they receive respectful, compassionate, and dignified care.
Candidate Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN) is preferred.
Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in New York.
Minimum of 1‑2 years of nursing experience is preferred; new graduates are also encouraged to apply.
BLS and ACLS certification is required.
Strong clinical assessment skills, excellent communication and interpersonal abilities, proficiency in electronic health records (EHR), and a commitment to patient-centered care.
