PRN Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)/Registered Nurse (RN) Night Shift

LPN/RN Core Responsibilities
Consults and coordinates with healthcare team members to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care plans.
Prepares and administers prescribed medications orally, subcutaneously, or via IV and records them.
Records patient medical information and vital signs.
Monitors and adjusts specialized equipment and interprets electronic displays.
Initiates corrective actions for adverse symptomatology.
Provides bedside care for a variety of medical patients.
Changes dressings, inserts catheters, and starts IVs.
Prepares equipment and assists physicians during examinations and treatments.
Responds to life‑saving situations according to nursing standards and protocols.
Participates in discharge planning.
Utilizes time‑management skills.
Records all care information concisely, accurately, and completely in a timely manner.
Performs other position‑related duties as assigned, depending on the setting.
LPN/RN Requirements
Current LPN or RN license in the State.
Up‑to‑date first aid and CPR certification.
Minimum of one year of LPN or RN experience in a long‑term care setting (preferred).
Knowledge of MatrixCare preferred.
