Physical Therapist – Long Island, NY We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Physical Therapist to join our team in Long Island, NY. Job Responsibilities
Provide pediatric therapy services and/or evaluations to children aged birth to 21 years in natural settings.
Educate families and caregivers on appropriate intervention strategies.
Work in diverse settings such as client homes, daycare centers, preschools, clinics, and community settings.
Follow the unique therapy plan established for each family/child, plan for ongoing treatment, and address identified goals while documenting progress.
Prepare progress reports and maintain child records in compliance with HIPAA and state/federal regulations.
Requirements
Passion for working with children and families.
NYS Licensed Physical Therapist.
1‑2 years of experience working with children (birth to 5 years preferred but not required).
Self‑motivated team player with patience and professionalism.
Fluency in a language other than English is a plus.
Physical Requirements
Ability to travel to and from assigned cases, including driving personal vehicle or using public transportation.
Ability to ascend and descend staircases.
Ability to lift 10 pounds regularly.
Ability to sit on the floor, kneel, or crawl for extended periods.
