Join Townsend Tree Service as a Warehouse Clerk and support our supply chain by efficiently receiving, storing, and distributing materials and equipment. The position reports to a Manager, is hourly, non‑exempt, and ensures accurate inventory management and safe warehouse operations.
Key Responsibilities
Receive incoming shipments, verify contents against purchase orders, and record data in the inventory system.
Inspect goods for damage, quality, and accuracy; report any discrepancies.
Maintain accurate inventory records and conduct regular stock counts.
Organize and label products, keeping the warehouse clean and hazard‑free.
Operate forklifts, pallet jacks and other equipment safely and perform pre‑/post‑operation inspections.
Communicate with coworkers, drivers, and supervisors to coordinate daily operations.
Participate in safety training and audits, ensuring compliance with protocols.
Qualifications
High School Diploma or equivalent.
One year of warehouse experience.
Excellent communication and people skills.
Meet all physical requirements of the position.
Pass drug and alcohol screening; valid work authorization in the United States.
Legal age 18 (21 if CDL required). Willingness to travel occasionally.
