Manager, Suitability Join Sammons Financial Group Companies as a Manager, Suitability. This role focuses on leading, coaching, and developing the Suitability team to deliver efficient, compliant, and high-quality service to our customers while meeting KPIs, SLAs, and business objectives.

What You'll Do

Lead and develop team and individual KPIs, SLAs and goals that align with departmental, divisional and company objectives.

Attract and retain top talent by providing opportunities for skill development.

Partner with team members to focus on performance and provide coaching and feedback.

Review and analyze systems, processes and data to improve workflow and increase efficiency.

Stay current on industry trends and competitiveness.

Support department-level training, documentation and work standards.

Lead and manage customer service issues and process improvements.

Manage the department budget and reduce costs where possible.

Foster internal and external relationships to achieve business goals.

Lead and engage employees across multiple sites, including remote.

Support operational, financial and internal controls processes.

Create a working environment that embraces company values and culture.

What We're Looking For

Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience (preferred).

Insurance industry experience (preferred).

Prior management of KPIs, SLAs, planning and workforce data (preferred).

Bias to action, urgency, problem solving and strategic thinking.

Effective leadership, coaching, motivation and decision-making skills.

Strong focus on customer service.

Proven ability to manage multi-faceted business needs and processes.

Experience leading a dispersed workforce across multiple locations.

Exceptional verbal, written and visual communication skills.

High emotional intelligence.

Self-motivated and able to work independently under deadline pressures.

Strong analytical skills.

Ability to balance cost and benefit considerations.

Series‑6 and Series‑26 (or Series‑7 and Series‑24) required.

FINRA SIE preferred.

Travel up to 25% may be required.

Other Requirements

Criminal background check required.

FINRA fingerprinting required; credit check if holding securities licenses.

Salary USD $67,633.00 – $112,722.00 per year. Specific range depends on labor market and candidate experience.
