Oversee a broad and critical technology portfolio that enables the wealth management businesses at Sammons Financial Group Companies. Collaborate with executive leaders across various retail and asset management firms to deliver exceptional technology solutions. Develop and sustain technology initiatives by defining, designing, implementing, and maintaining solutions in a rapid, iterative project delivery environment, employing process-driven, analytical, technical, and financial management skills. Work alongside business counterparts to understand their needs and advance innovative, scalable, and robust solutions.
What You'll Do In This Role •Establish a robust architecture and delivery roadmap for wealth technology ecosystems across Sammons Financial Group Companies, ensuring alignment with business goals and technological advancements. •Engage with both new and existing partners to deliver best-in-class wealth platforms, ensuring these solutions remain at the forefront of the industry through strategic partnerships and innovation. •Develop digital solutions that facilitate the organization's digital transformation journey, focusing on leveraging technology to improve efficiency, productivity, and customer engagement. •Collaborate with business leaders to enable business growth, optimize costs, and solve business challenges using the most appropriate and effective technology solutions. •Proactively identify, evaluate, and communicate legal, regulatory, IT, and cybersecurity risks to information assets, aligning risk management strategies with business objectives to maintain a secure and compliant technology environment. •Serve as the primary escalation point for risks and issues, ensuring timely and effective resolution. •Lead discussions with business, risk management, and IT stakeholders to establish acceptable levels of risk for the organization, balancing risk mitigation with operational efficiency and business needs. •Identify and remove obstacles that hinder team progress, facilitating and influencing decision-making and fostering an environment where the team can achieve their objectives efficiently. •Operate independently on multiple program tasks of varied complexity and deliver high-quality outcomes. •Develop and execute a multifaceted technology strategy that enhances the experience of advisors, clients, and employees, while simultaneously strengthening operational efficiency and achieving business objectives. •Lead by example, coaching, mentoring and infusing the team with leadership thinking and motivation. •Promote employee engagement and professional development while providing oversight to Performance Management programs to include appropriate goals, distribution of ratings and suitable recognition for advancement. Provide timely feedback and coaching to direct reports to improve development and overall performance of the team. •Drive and reinforce commitment to internal controls processes such as those under Model Audit Rule and Record Information Management. •Commitment to embrace Sammons Financial Group Companies shared values (Accountability, Connection, Openness, Respect and Integrity). •As stated within the Company Attendance and Punctuality policy, regular attendance is required and expected in order to meet the business service levels and workflow demands. •Participate in other initiatives and/or projects as necessary.
What We're Looking For
Bachelor's Degree in Management Information Systems, Computer Science or Business Preferred Minimum 10 years' wealth management technology experience, with a focus on integration and digital strategy/execution Preferred Minimum 5 years' in a leadership role; experienced leader of people and teams (directly managed and matrixed) Preferred Knowledge and expertise in the RIA/independent financial advice business is strongly Preferred Strong understanding and experience in building CRM (Salesforce, Redtail, etc.) platform solutions Preferred Proven success in managing financial resources, ensuring alignment between budget allocations and technological investments Exemplary leadership, communication, and decision-making skills Exceptional communication and presentation skills; comfortable presenting to executives, facilitating discussions with end-clients and/or groups of financial professionals, and speaking at major conferences Proven ability to collaborate and generate trust with customers and business partners Passion for following and understanding technology trends with the ability to understand how to take advantage of them from a product roadmap and innovation perspective Excellent Microsoft Office skills (primarily PowerPoint and Excel) and ability to create compelling and easy to understand presentations and supporting analysis in support of all areas of responsibility Ability to excel under pressure and prioritize multiple tasks simultaneously while delivering on-time and with quality Ability to synthesize data and information into recommendations and then drive the execution based on those recommendations Adept at change management and leading organizational change through detailed communication plans 25% travel primarily to other Sammons Financial Group offices required

Salary Range Information
USD $156,536.00 - USD $260,893.00 /Yr. Range includes data points from multiple labor markets. Specific range is dependent on the labor market where the incumbent will be hired to perform the position. Starting salary is dependent on candidate qualifications and experience. For a narrower salary range specific to your labor market, please inquire.
