Our client is seeking an experienced Human Resources Manager to join their team in Clifton Park, NY. This is a full‑time, permanent position.
Pay Range $90,000.00 / yr – $130,000.00 / yr
Responsibilities
Recruiting and hiring of employees.
Communication of benefit packages.
Assist with employee development.
Assist the HR director with the execution of the company’s HR strategy.
Lead initiatives to boost employee morale.
Address manager and employee concerns in a considerate and effective manner.
Ensure the organization works in compliance with all laws and regulations.
Management of unemployment insurance claims.
Assist with workers’ compensation and disability management.
Assist with disciplinary action as required.
Maintain documentation of disciplinary actions.
Provide feedback regarding employee progress.
Oversight of HR systems and software.
Qualifications
7-10 years of human resource experience.
Bachelor’s degree in human resources, business, or a related field.
Advanced conflict resolution and negotiation skills.
Knowledge of employment laws and regulations.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
Advanced experience with HRIS systems and reporting.
Advanced written and verbal communication skills.
Preferred: PHR or SPHR certification.
Strong attention to detail.
Ability to maintain confidentiality.
