Accountant – Oakland, CA (Hybrid) – Pay: $45‑50/hr
We are looking for a staff or senior accountant with at least three years of accounting experience, including inventory accounting. The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance, has strong general ledger experience, and pays close attention to detail.
Key Responsibilities
Reconcile retail store inventories across multiple locations. Perform month‑end close activities, including journal entries, account reconciliations, and inventory‑related reporting. Conduct general ledger account analysis and create required journal entries. Process manual inventory transfer transactions within the inventory system. Prepare financial reports and spreadsheets to support internal teams. Collaborate with cross‑functional partners such as Supply Chain, Operations, and FP&A. Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance. Strong Microsoft Excel and general Office skills. Experience with an ERP system such as Oracle or SAP. Ability to work overtime, including occasional Saturdays during month‑end close. Strong attention to detail, analytical skills, and comfort working with high‑volume data.
