Base pay range : $34.90/hr – $52.35/hr
This position qualifies for a $15,000 sign‑on bonus, provided the candidate meets eligibility requirements.
Where You Will Work Intermediate Care is a 24‑bed step‑down unit that cares for patients with a variety of pulmonary, neurological, renal, geriatric, and infectious disease conditions. Patients receive an increased level of care that requires bedside monitoring.
We’re Looking For
Less than one year of RN experience
Completion of an accredited or approved nursing program
Registered Nurse licence issued by the state in which you practice
Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers certification issued by the American Heart Association
What You’ll Do
As a skilled and compassionate RN, you will play a pivotal role in providing and coordinating comprehensive patient care through the nursing process to deliver safe, therapeutic care in accordance with established standards, policies, and procedures.
Using evidence‑based practice, clinical judgement, compassion, and skillful communication while leading efforts to create the safest patient environment and the best patient experience across the continuum.
About This Location Atrium Health Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center, located in Winston‑Salem, NC, is a key part of our nationally recognized academic health system. The 885‑bed tertiary care hospital houses the region’s only children’s hospital, burn center, and Level I adult and pediatric trauma centers. The campus also hosts a National Cancer Institute‑designated Comprehensive Cancer Center and clinical centers of excellence in cardiovascular, neurology, sports medicine, orthopaedics, transplantation, and nephrology.
