We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Technical Accounting Manager to lead the organizations most complex accounting areas. This role will be responsible for ensuring accurate technical accounting treatment for leases equity and other investments revenue recognition and other complex transactions and agreements. The ideal candidate will bring deep expertise in US GAAP strong analytical capabilities and a proactive mindset to drive process improvements and ensure compliance.
How You Will Contribute
Have a deep understanding of US GAAP and ASC guidance
Interpret and apply new accounting standards confidently
Draft technical accounting memos maintain accounting policies and ensure compliance with those policies
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to assess accounting implications of new initiatives and contracts
Excellent written and verbal communication skills for explaining intricate processes clearly to non-accounting stakeholders.
Prepare balance sheet reconciliations for accuracy and monthly financial statements that comply with generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP)
Recommend process improvements and innovations that will increase the teams effectiveness
Perform monthly closing responsibilities including preparing journal entries for review by accounting management
Work with accounting management and the external audit firm to ensure an efficient annual audit process
Gain an understanding of general ledger accounts and effectively communicate to members of the Accounting and Finance team the activity that has occurred and the resulting financial reporting implications
Answer accounting and financial questions by researching and interpreting data
Develop and implement accounting procedures by analyzing current procedures and recommending changes when necessary
What You Will Bring
3-5 years of accounting experience including experiencereviewing the work of others
Strong excel skills including ability to use pivot tables Vlookups etc
Highly entrepreneurial and detail-oriented
Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment

Standout Candidates Will Bring
Bachelors degree in Accounting or Finance; CPA
Experience in nonprofit or mission-driven organizations.
Familiarity with data visualization tools like Power BI or Tableau.
Proficiency in financial systems such as Sage Intacct Concur Blackline and advanced Excel.
Strategic thinker with a hands‑on approach to problem‑solving.
