You will have the opportunity to help a global financial services firm. With multiple locations, you will be working out of their NYC office (currently hybrid).
The ideal candidate will have 2-5 years of fund accounting OR audit (top 10 accounting firm) experience.
Responsibilities
Assist with the preparation of the fund financials
Be a key member helping out with the month, quarter, and year-end close process
Help with capital calls, distributions, and reconciliations
Be a resource for audit inquiries and assist the fund admin
Analyze high risk accounts on the balance sheet and income statement to recommend any better methods
Have an analytical mindset and help out with process improvement initiatives
Respond to investor requests and special projects as they arise
Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree in accounting, finance, or business from top tier school
2 – 5 years of relevant experience in the accounting, finance, or commercial real‑estate fields
