You will provide programmatic, financial, and administrative support to a diverse portfolio of DoD‑relevant research programs. Your responsibilities include supporting day‑to‑day business operations, financial execution, and coordination activities, ensuring accurate budget tracking, timely deliverables, and effective communication across government, performer, and contractor teams. You must have hands‑on experience with government budgeting processes, acquisition documentation, and financial systems, and be able to operate effectively in a fast‑paced, high‑visibility research environment.
Location & Clearance Hybrid: Onsite support required in Arlington, VA.
Secret clearance required (Top Secret preferred).
Required Experience
Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, accounting, management, or a related field.
Minimum six years of relevant financial and administrative support experience, including direct DARPA program support.
Experience developing, organizing, forecasting, and maintaining program budgets.
Experience creating and coordinating budget and acquisition funding documents.
Strong analytical skills with attention to financial and technical detail.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools (Excel, PowerPoint, and Word).
Experience organizing and facilitating small to medium‑sized meetings up to 100 participants.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Knowledge of U.S. Government budget and contracting processes.
Ability to multitask, work independently, and perform effectively in a high‑tempo environment.
Proficiency with Defense Agencies Initiative (DAI) and experience creating or modifying Military Interdepartmental Purchase Requests (MIPRs).
Desired Experience
Prior experience supporting multiple concurrent R&D or technical programs.
Experience supporting senior DoD or research agency leadership.
Familiarity with DARPA solicitation development and performer tracking.
Strong organizational and coordination skills.
Experience working in hybrid or on‑site government research environments.
