Role Description This is a full‑time hybrid role for a Bookkeeper located in Brookeville, MD, with flexibility for some remote work. The Bookkeeper will be responsible for maintaining and analyzing financial records, reconciling accounts, preparing financial reports, and processing invoices and payroll. Additional responsibilities include monitoring budgets, managing accounts payable and receivable, and ensuring compliance with financial regulations. The ideal candidate will work collaboratively with the Gold Leaf Group team to support the company’s financial operations.

Qualifications

Strong proficiency in accounting and bookkeeping, including account reconciliation, financial reporting, and budget management.

Experience with accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll processing.

Proficiency in accounting software and spreadsheet tools, such as QuickBooks and Microsoft Excel.

Excellent attention to detail, problem‑solving, and organizational skills.

Ability to work both independently and within a collaborative team environment.

Prior experience in a bookkeeping or financial role is preferred.

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is a plus.
